Every pickaxe, cost and Power
Ordered from the starter tool upward. Every one of them is bought with cash earned from the pets in your pen, not with Robux. “Best for” only repeats the pickaxe a zone’s published tool list names; a dash means no checked zone list names that tool, not that it is useless.

Which pickaxe each zone points at
The same mapping read the other way: one row per zone, the Speed its gate needs, and the tool the published lists name for it. This is the honest answer to “what should I buy next” — buy for the zone you are actually farming.

How to pick the next purchase
If eggs in your current zone take too long to break, buy the tool that zone names before you buy anything else. A break that drags keeps you next to the guardian for longer, and getting caught on the way out loses the pet.

If you cannot afford the tool your zone names, farm the previous zone until you can. Each jump on the list costs a multiple of the one before it — between about 2.7× and 25× in the current build — so buying halfway up a tier is usually worse than waiting one zone.
Power is not Speed
Pickaxe or trail first?
Buy for the bottleneck you actually hit. If the shell opens fast but you get caught carrying the pet home, the trail is the upgrade; if you reach the egg comfortably but the break takes forever, it is the pickaxe. How this table was checked
Costs and Power come from published tool lists and agree across at least two of them for every row in the current build. The Sci Fi and Enchanted Pickaxe appear only in the later lists; where two lists cover them they agree on both numbers.
We do not convert Power into a break time, because no checked source publishes egg health, and an estimate without health would be a guess.
Pickaxe questions
- Does a better pickaxe unlock zones?
- No. Zone gates check Speed. A pickaxe only changes how long an egg takes to break once you are already inside the zone.
- What does Power actually mean?
- Damage per swing against egg health. More Power means fewer swings, which means less time standing next to the egg where the guardian can reach you.
- Which pickaxe is the best one?
- The best you can afford for the zone you are farming. There is no single answer: the last tool on the list costs far more than most players will earn, and it breaks the same eggs faster rather than opening anything new.
