All Trails in Break and Steal an Egg
Every trail, cost and multiplier
Ordered by price. The last column is derived: the cash price divided by the multiplier it grants, so you can see what one point of multiplier costs at that rung.
| Trail | Cost | Speed multiplier | Cash per Γ1 of multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| White trail | $500 | 2x | $250 |
| Blue trail | $7.5K | 4x | $1.9K |
| Green trail | $100K | 8x | $12.5K |
| Purple trail | $1.2M | 16x | $75K |
| Red trail | $17.5M | 40x | $437.5K |
| Golden trail | $250M | 100x | $2.5M |
| Rainbow trail | $3.5B | 250x | $14M |
| Galactic trail | $45B | 600x | $75M |
| Secret trail | $600B | 1.5Kx | $400M |
| Laser trail | $8T | 4Kx | $2B |
| Moonlight trail | $100T | 10Kx | $10B |
Cash per Γ1 is calculated from the two published numbers in the same row, not read from the game. Every row is covered by at least two checked sources.
What the multiplier does, and what it does not
It multiplies trained Speed. The treadmill is where Speed comes from; the trail is the multiplier on top of it. That is why the same treadmill session is worth several times more with a trail equipped.
It only counts while equipped. Every trail carries the same note: the multiplier applies while that trail is on, and ownership alone does nothing. Equip the best one you own before you retry a gate.
It is not the gate itself. Zone gates read Speed, so a trail helps you reach the number a gate wants, but it does not let you skip the treadmill work that number is built on.
Do trails stack?
Trail or treadmill?
The treadmill raises the base number; the trail multiplies it. That makes the trail the faster of the two when you are short of a gate, and the treadmill the thing you still have to do afterwards. The difference between them only becomes expensive when you buy a trail you never equip β the multiplier is dead weight while it sits in the inventory.
For the full order of Speed upgrades, including the free rewards that hand you Speed outright, read how to increase Speed fast . To see which gate your current Speed passes, use the Speed calculator .
Cost climbs faster than the multiplier
The first trail costs $250 per point of multiplier; the last one costs $10B for the same single point. Each rung buys more multiplier for far more cash, which is why trails are a gate key rather than a value purchase: you buy the one that gets you over the next gate, not the one with the best ratio.
Check the trailβs cost against the Speed gate on the zone list before buying: an expensive trail is no use until the Speed behind it exists.
Trail questions
- Do I need to equip a trail?
- Yes. The multiplier only applies while the trail is equipped; buying it is not enough.
- Do two trails stack?
- Nothing published says they do. The notes describe one equipped trail at a time, so treat the highest single multiplier you own as your ceiling.
