How to Get Money Fast
BearForest · $1,800/s
Polar BearSnowy · $125K/s
QilinGalaxy · $750M/sWhere cash actually comes from
Breaking eggs produces animals; animals produce cash only once they are placed in your pen. A player who breaks twenty eggs and places none has earned nothing.
Because pen income is per second and continuous, the best money strategy is not the most runs per hour — it is the highest money-per-second animal in the pen, as early as possible.
Best income per zone
Within each zone the income spread is enormous. Forest's Bear at $1,800/s is worth 1,800 Chickens. Candy's Prehistoric Dragonfly at $1.5M/s is roughly 18 times the zone's next best. Those gaps are why a single lucky pull matters more than an hour of efficient but low-tier farming.
The table lists the top confirmed income pet in each zone from the pet database.
| Zone | Top confirmed pet | Money per second |
|---|---|---|
| Forest | Bear | $1,800/s |
| Desert | Chirema | $2,800/s |
| Snowy | Polar Bear | $125,000/s |
| Candy | Prehistoric Dragonfly | $1,500,000/s |
| Swamp | Prehistoric Moth | $12,000,000/s |
| Ocean | Amphiptere | $125,000,000/s |
| Hell / Volcano | Raiju | $180,000,000/s |
| Blossom | Simurgh | $300,000,000/s |
| Galaxy | Qilin | $750,000,000/s |
| Planet X | Behemoth | $900,000,000/s |
Turning income into purchases
Pen income converts directly into upgrade time. A pen running a single Bear at $1,800/s earns $1.2M in about 11 minutes, which is the price of the Strawberry Pickaxe. A pen at $125,000/s earns $20,000 in under a second, which is why the Golden Pickaxe stops being a decision at that stage.
Use the cash calculator to run your own numbers: it totals your pen and divides a pickaxe price by your income.
Three habits that lift income fast
Replace, do not stack: put the highest money-per-second pet you own into the pen and move the old one out only when something better arrives.
Chase discovery rewards: a new species pays cash and Speed on first acquisition, which is often more than a day of pen income.
Do not sell duplicates for cash before merging them; merged pets are worth more in the pen than the parts.
How to tell what is actually blocking you
The steps above describe the fix. This part is about knowing whether the fix is the one you need, and how to tell a real improvement from a lucky run.
Diagnose before you change anything
Look at your pen before you look at your route. If cash per second is low while you are breaking eggs constantly, the problem is what is placed, not how much you farm. If the pen produces well and purchases still feel slow, the problem is the price of the next upgrade and the answer is a better earner rather than more runs. The two situations look identical in your wallet and completely different in the pen, which is why the pen is where to start.
Check that the change actually landed
Test income with the pen alone: stop farming for a short, repeatable window and watch the cash counter. Anything that ticks while you stand still is pen income; anything that only moves when you break an egg is not. Then swap a single placement and repeat the same window. If the counter barely changes, the pet you swapped in is not a better earner than the one you removed — the label and the rarity are not the income.
Common misreads
The main misread is that more eggs means more money. Eggs produce animals, and animals produce money only once they are placed, so a full satchel and an empty pen is the same as doing nothing. The second is stacking pets you like instead of the highest earner you own, which looks busy and pays less. The third is emptying the wallet into an upgrade before the pen is full, when the same cash would have bought an earner that pays for the upgrade by itself.
Questions this guide gets asked
Do pets earn while offline?
Community guides claim offline pen income, but the sources checked do not agree on the details, so this site does not present an offline rate.
Should I place every pet?
Place the highest money-per-second pets you have; the rest exist for merging and index completion.
Is farming eggs better than waiting for pen income?
Both matter: farming finds better pets, the pen pays for upgrades while you do it.
